In October 1843, Charles Dickens, after the failure of his last three books and facing rejection by his publishers, he decides to write and self-publish a book hoping that it would revive his career. The film tells the story of six fever-pitched weeks when Dickens created A Christmas Carol; it also showcases how Dickens brought Ebenezer Scrooge, Tiny Tim, and others to life and how he changed the Christmas holiday into a merry family event, which is known today.
